Rooted in Passion & Precision
Velour Coffee began in a converted warehouse in Portland, Oregon, where founder Maya Chen started roasting beans for her neighbourhood. A decade later, we still roast every batch by hand — obsessing over temperature curves, rest times, and the story behind every farm.
We work exclusively with farmers who share our belief that exceptional coffee starts in the soil — and that the people who grow it deserve exceptional prices.

Source & Select
Our sourcing team visits farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and beyond — tasting hundreds of lots to find the top 5% of each harvest.
Precision Roast
Using a 12-kg Probat drum roaster, our roasters develop a unique temperature profile for each origin to unlock its full flavour potential.
Quality Control
Every batch is cupped the morning after roasting — scored against SCA standards. Only batches scoring 85+ leave our roastery.
Fresh Delivery
Packed in nitrogen-flushed bags with a one-way valve and shipped within 48 hours of roasting — arriving at peak flavour.
